BLAST FROM THE PAST @ YOUR LIBRARY!
2012 ADULT SUMMER READING PROGRAM
June 2-August 4, 2012 at Morristown-Hamblen Library
Blast from the Past @ Your Library is a program where adults have a chance to win incentives for completing requirements on a bingo card using items checked out from the library and at home. The readers who have
completed three bingos on their card will be entered into a drawing for either a $50 gift card to Amazon.com
or Barnes and Noble.
Grand Prize Drawing
The grand prize drawing will be held on Monday, August 6. To be entered in the drawing, each adult must complete three bingos by Saturday, August 4 at 5:30 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS! Entrants do not need to be present at the drawing to win. All winners will be notified by phone.
Summer Reading Program Weekend Family Movie Matinees
June and July 2012 at the Community Room of the Morristown-Hamblen Library
Do you need something to do on Saturday afternoons now that school has ended? Are you needing extra opportunities to finish your bingo card? The Morristown-Hamblen Library has the answer. We are having four family movie matinees in June and July based on the adult summer reading program theme “Blast From the Past @ Your Library!” All movies will be set during a historical time period and rated PG or lower. Movies, dates, and times are listed below.

Admission is free for all movies. Tickets will be given after the movie ends for those needing them for their bingo cards. Concessions will also be sold for a small fee. Proceeds will be given to the Children’s Room Shelving Fund.

SKILLS REQUIRED: A PERSON MUST HAVE BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS, FAMILIAR WITH MICROSOFT SOFTWARE, AND ENJOY WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC.
